Thomas Vene Twichell Of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 70. Tom was born on October 6, 1950 to Roy and Fern (Allen) Twichell in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Eaton Rapids High School class of 1969 and went to work for General Motors right out of school. Tom served in the United States Navy for two years and two years in the Reserves during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and traveling and much of his traveling was done with the M.A.P.S. team that traveled to different US States and to Mexico and Chili to build and repair churches. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Esther (Dick) Scott. Surviving are his wife, Deborah (Higgins) Twichell; daughters, Teresa (Chris) Pienta, Kristina (Ty) Davis; grandchildren, Dalton, Dakota, Chase, Hudson, Arrington, Remington; brothers, Rex (Judy) Twichell, Neil (Jackie) Twichell; sister, Florence Twichell and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Skinner Funeral Homes, Eaton Rapids Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to M.A.P.S. in care of Mt. Hope Church.
