I moved from Michigan in 1981 and spent a few years in Florida and rest of the time in Arizona. I am a Registered Nurse and work at a Continuing Care Retirement Community (all levels of care available). I am the director of the Case Management and HomeCare department. Green Valley is a retirement community and I live in a 55 and older neighborhood so I spend lots of time with old people!! Ofcourse I'm not getting any older.
I got married late (I got tired of always getting the award at the class reunion for still being single) but lost my husband 2 years ago to cancer. I have two step children in Tucson.
My brother, Steve, lives in Tucson and my sister Kathy, lives across the street from me. My mom Doris Squires Kimmel, was the secretary at the high school and died about the same time as my husband.
I enjoy walking (I have 3 dogs and walk them alot)swimming and gardening. I used to do more activities like sky diving, scuba diving, skiing, and 4 wheeling but I seem to be slowing down and not as adventurous anymore.
I only get back to Michigan every 5 years when we have the class reunion, so I am coming back for a couple weeks this summer so I can visit family and friends. I look forward to seeing all of you this summer.
