Jim Jenkins

I'm an independent writer in Colorado. I enjoy freelance work as a writer, Photographer, and Magician. I've worked for a congressman in Washington D. C, Operations Manager for North America for Holland America Cruise Line, cross utilized as an employee for Frontier Airlines helped with the photography when they moved into new cities; did planning and layout for training and customer awareness development, engineered sales promotions for trade shows, etc, worked in marketing development for several companies, utilize law background to litigate cases in civil and criminal law, and now work as a writer in independent publishing. During the past year I have submitted several screenplays based on recent books. I have traveled and worked in must of the united States except for Hawaii.

Studied at Lansing Community College before going to Huntington College in Indiana. I continued my education at several schools including Manchester College and Marion College and overseas in Israel and Greece. My undergraduate degree is in Religion and Social and Cultural Development. I pursued graduate study at Bowling Green State University.I worked for Rep. Waldron at the Capitol in Lansing, Michigan. Afterward I worked for Congressman Chamberlain in Washington D. C. I performed professional magic in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania.My interests led me to work in the travel industry. I obtained a job for Monarch Cruise Line and later Holland America Cruise Line. The travel offices moved from Miami to New York City. I decided to travel to the Rocky Mountains and work for Frontier Airlines. Being cross utilized allowed me to travel extensively until the airline filed bankruptcy. In recent years I have returned to writing books and traveling. It is a more comfortable lifestyle. I must say it is more agreeable as I get up in years. I'm enjoying photography again starting to work on traveling again, flying and road trips.
