H. Greg Bellows
Age 64 of Eaton Rapids died Friday, June 26, 2015 at McLaren of Greater Lansing. Greg was born in Eaton Rapids on December 25, 1950 the son of Harry and Audrey (Webster) Bellows. Greg was born to be a farmer; he was active with the Michigan FFA in high school, graduating with the Eaton Rapids High School, class of 1969. He owned and operated a farm north of town and raised beef cattle and dairy cattle. Greg was a typical farmer, very social, always enjoyed visiting over a cup of coffee and most important was time with family. Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, John Bellows.
Surviving are his wife Elaine; 2 sons, Nathan (Melissa) Bellows of Louisville, KY., and Ben (Nicole) Bellows of Lusaka, Zambia; 3 step-children, Joshua (Amy) Barrett of Mulliken, Abby (Will) Childs of Plainwell and Jason (Barb) Barrett of Brighton; 12 grandchildren; sister, Jenny Bellows of Cottonwood, AZ.; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. Stephen Klink, officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Future Farmers of America at 446 W.
